Eccentric engine cones allow the engine to be distanced from the frame for greater distance. This is often necessary with cylinders that have a diaphragm inlet and the space between the frame and the intake manifold is very small.

If the intake manifold touches the frame, all vibrations are transmitted unfiltered into the frame. In the worst case the intake manifold or the cylinder can be damaged.

The engine bolt is flattened on one side, matching the mounting in the cones.
This effectively prevents twisting of the cones, the alignment to each other is always 100% parallel. An important criterion to fix the motor straight in the frame.

For mounting, please mount the cones with the slots facing upwards (12 o'clock position).
