Some modern front brake cables come in two parts to allow for a front brake switch.  To connect the cable together Mark designed this stainless steel connection sleeve.  These sleeve should be fitted in side the headset and hidden.  The sleeve can be used to extend any cable. (Replaces the brake light switch)  This is also useful for chopped or raked frames and extended forks etc
